Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain
Osteopathy for Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain e.g. jaw pain/clicking/locking
TMJ pain affects the joint between the skull and the lower jaw. While usually not serious, it can have a significant impact on a patient's quality of life. Symptoms can last for a few months and may include;
- a clicking or popping noise when chewing or moving your mouth
 - difficulty when opening the mouth - the jaw may feel stuck
 - spasms around the muscles of the jaw
 - headaches and/or earaches

Osteopathic intervention can help by manipulating or articulating the joint and massaging the muscles around the affected area.
